Welcome

We invite you to tour three lovely vacation cottages—Applegarth, Bide-a-Wee and Orchard House.  All three are located on a quiet, private point on Lake Champlain near South Alburgh, Vermont, just 12 miles from the Canadian border.  Enjoy the scenic, recreational and culinary variety of this international area, halfway between Burlington, VT and Montreal.  Then, at the end of the day, come back to your own private sanctuary to enjoy peace and quiet.

Vermont’s Lake Champlain—sometimes called the “fifth Great Lake”—is a perfect place for a perfect vacation.  Swimming, fishing, boating, biking and hiking, and amazing vistas are all part of everyday life here.  Offering fine dining, antiquing, day trips to everything from world-renowned sites to hidden treasures, this region is rich with all sorts of activities to please the most discriminating visitors.  With your own holiday cottage in a gorgeous setting, you’ll have an unforgettable experience.

Couples or singles looking for a perfect hideaway just a few steps from lakeside, will be delighted with Applegarth, a charming Victorian-style carriage house.

Families or groups of up to six will find room to relax at Bide-a-Wee, a three bedroom cedar-log cottage with private beach and dock, play lawns and gorgeous views.

The largest cottage, Orchard House, is not available this year, but you can still take a peek—maybe for future reference.

Check the availability calendar at the end of each cottage tour.  For more information on the rentals, please contact:  rentthiscottage@gmail.com.
