Fall Season: Labor Day to October 15

Fall Rates: 2-night minimum.  For 2 persons, $135/night (includes all taxes, cleaning).  For 3 or more, $175/night.

Security Deposit: Returnable security deposit required to make reservations (amount depends on length of stay, number in party).  Deposit does not count towards rental fee.

Bide-a-Wee is a lakeside classic: a cheery, cozy cedar-log cottage with guest house and all the features a family wants, plus those special touches for a refined and relaxing vacation experience.  This lovely, carefree cottage has beautiful eastern views over Lake Champlain as well as glimpses of the sunsets over Isle la Motte.

It is located in a partially wooded private community with easy access to the Champlain Islands and major roadways to Burlington and Montreal.

With half an acre of landscaped grounds, 100 feet of private shale beach, a dock and offshore swim platform, Bide-a-Wee offers an ideal spot for enjoying a wide variety of summer activities.  Bring your boat and fishing gear, take a swim, enjoy lawn games, nap in the hammock, or just sit back with a cool drink in one of the comfy garden chairs.  There’s even an outdoor fireplace for wonderful evening campfires.  For lovers of sandy beaches, we provide up to 10 free passes to the nearby Alburgh Dunes State Park.

Prepare meals in the fully equipped galley kitchen at one end of the great room—or grill outside on the large gas grill.  Dine inside at the table for six or enjoy delightful outdoor dining at the large picnic table.  With a beautiful view of the lake from the living area, you can relax in a comfortable armchair or on the sofa while listening to music on the CD/tape player or enjoying a film on the VCR/DVD player.  A converted TV antenna is provided for local  TV reception.

In the main cottage, choose from a large bedroom with a king-size bed or a small bedroom with a twin bed.  In the semi-attached guest house you’ll find a double bed and a twin daybed.  The cottage bathroom has a tub/shower, pedestal sink and linen storage.  Linens and towels are not provided except by special request ($10/week charge for each set).
